Frequently Asked Questions
Has Yellow Hat Travels Cancelled Any Tours?
Some trips that were scheduled and disrupted by Covid were postponed. Our first policy is to reschedule a trip and this is communicated with all booked travellers.
What Should I Do Prior To Travel?
The situation surrounding COVID-19 is rapidly evolving; we advise you check the government’s travel advice for all countries that you are intending to visit and that you check for any health advice specific to COVID-19 issued by your government before you
leave for your trip. We would also advise you to check with your travel insurance provider that your travel insurance is valid and intact.
Furthermore, everyone travelling with Yellow Hat Travels should have a negative test proof even if the country does not require it. We are also requesting that you consider obtaining a single negative test proof even for local trips, for your safety and others if you will be joining a group tour. This is only to give you peace of mind as you will be among other travellers that have tested negative like yourself.

Should I Still Book A Trip?
Yes. With all the measurements we have put in place, including travel insurances and flexibility on both sides, do book your trip; flexibility is key. Again, your health and safety is out top priority; that is why we request you to be a flexible as possible but still keep a positive mindset that things will improve, and they will.
We are only working with hotels with increased sanitation standards and we have protocol and training for trip hosts. During these trying times, having something positive and exciting to look forward to is so important. Travel is going to come roaring back. The desire for new experiences and connecting with new people is a human trait; there may have never been a time when we needed to go out in nature and explore new lands. So don’t despair - your next adventure might be a bit farther out than you planned, but it’s coming. Again, be flexible. When it does, you will be happy that you planned and booked your trip on time.
