Travel Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Windhoek, a bustling yet orderly metropolis. Our shuttle will drive you to the hotel. If you have some last minute shopping to do, beautiful malls are there to enjoy. Later we enjoy our signature welcome dinner. We retire early for our start of fun-filled road trip the next day.

Day 2

After breakfast we travel south to world-famous Sossusvlei/Solitare area. We make a stop at the viewpoint to admire the beauty of the Namib desert. The activity in the afternoon include a nature tour and sundowner drive. Back in our hotel, make sure to enjoy star-gazing with a glass of wine. The stars in this area are something you have never seen in your life!

Day 3

Rise and shine! Today we leave early in the morning, just before sunrise for our adventure. We start off by climbing Dune 45. After Dune 45 it is off to the surreal Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan; a true open-air gallery. If you are up for it, you can take on climbing one of the highest dunes on Earth, the “Big Daddy”’ or “Big Mama.” Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are one of the most photogenic and some of the most photographed places on Earth and make for beautiful memories!

Day 4

After breakfast, we make our way to the Atlantic coast. En-route there is a good chance of spotting ostriches, springboks, mountain zebras and Oryx grazing in their natural habitat, so be on the lookout! We should arrive in Swakopmund / Walvis Bay around 14h00. On arrival, we enjoy quad biking in the dunes and camel riding experience. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Day 5

This is one of the days you will not forget. Our professional driver and guide takes us for a full day in Sandwich Harbour. Along the way we see the pink lake. Be ready for some fun dune bashing experience and scenic drive along the coast and desert. Amazing photography opportunities are endless - we end the adventure with a beach picnic between the desert and ocean.

Day 6

Today our journey takes us to amazing Spitzkoppe. We take a walk with the San People (Bushmen). We experience their everyday life; they show us how they hunt, trap their prey and they even teach us how to make fire with just two sticks. We visit their village and interact with the kids and the women. Feel free to take sweets and gifts with for the kids, they enjoy the attention. We camp here and enjoy the beautiful open skies of the Namib sky while our guide prepares a nice braai/barbeque.

Day 7

After a beautiful night out in nature, we make our way to scenic Damaraland. We spend time with the Damara people and the Himba people, very fascinating ethnic groups of Namibia. We will learn a little more about their culture and even get to taste home-made beer brewed by them. Later we enjoy the afternoon at leisure .

Day 8

Today we drive back to Windhoek for our final day of the trip. We stop along the way for some pictures. On arrival to Windhoek, we relax and reminisce about the lifetime
experience we enjoyed over nice dinner with new friends we have made.
